A: Carlist.my is a FREE online car classifieds. It is an online version of the Carlist.my magazine that will be launched in the middle of 2009. Posting a car for sale is completely free on Carlist.my. A: Posting a car for sale is FREE, however user registration is required for posting an ad on Carlist.my.
A: First and foremost, registration is FREE. And once you are a registered user, you will be able to post cars for sale and participate in our online forum. A: Upon submitting your registration form, an email will be sent to the email which you provided on your registration form. Click on the link provided in the email to activate your account. *Instructions are also available in the email. A: Removal of car advertisements can be done via the Member’s Profile page.
A: No. Carlist.my is strictly a car classified. Although you cannot complete a car-buying transaction online, you can begin the process here. Each individual car listing includes all the necessary information such as the car details and description as well the contact information of the seller who will naturally assist you in your purchase. A: Do not worry; you can easily reset your password by taking the following steps:

A: This feature allows you (buyer) to request for cars that you've been looking for if you haven’t found one that meets your criteria from our listings. Sellers now have an extra avenue to serve you by knowing exactly what you want via your requests. This helps to increase their stock turnaround too. It's a win-win! With this feature, you can decrease your lead time for getting the car you want – by posting up a car request, you can now get the sellers to contact you!
A: If you've tried looking for a particular car and it's not YET within our listings, then this is the feature that'll help us serve you better. By setting your criteria (e.g. make/model/year/price), we'll notify you via email when listings match your criteria. You can even set multiple notifications and we'll aggregate them all into one email before sending it out to you. This greatly increases your chances of finding the car that meets your criteria.
A: This feature allows you to bookmark any car listing so you can revisit it in future sessions. Just click on 'Save this Car' at the top of the car details page and we'll store it in your Saved Cars page for you to revisit. When you no longer want it in your list, just click on 'delete'. With over 26,000 listings and counting, we're pretty certain you'll appreciate this feature.
A: When faced with so many options, don't you ever wished you could do a side-by-side view comparison of the cars that interest you? Well, now with the car comparison feature, you can! All you need to do is check the 'compare' checkbox in the search results page for cars that you want to make comparisons against and click on 'compare cars'. We're allowing you to compare up to 10 cars at any one time! In the car comparison page, the cars and their details are listed side-by-side. Clicking on the car's image will bring you to the individual car’s details. We have also integrated the 'save a car' feature here to help make it easier for you to save cars directly in your current view. At Carlist.my, we like making things easy for everybody. *applies to registered users only
A: A sambung bayar transaction is one whereby the buyer services the current car owner's loan but has full use of the car as it is his/her own. A contract is signed between buyer and owner to transfer the ownership to the buyer upon completion of the loan repayment. |
