With no changes to the powertrain department, the Perodua brings forward its 1.3 and 1.5-litre four-pot petrol engines, and continue to pair them with either four-speed automatic transmissions or five-speed manuals. Performance figures are maintained at 89hp and 117Nm of torque for the 1.3-litre model, and 101hp and 136Nm of torque for the 1.5-litre.
Exterior design has evolved more dynamically, taking on a similar direction to what we saw on the aggressive Perodua Axia, where two of the lower-spec variants get one face, while the two higher-spec models get a sportier kit. On top of this, Perodua are making obvious some new headlamps and front corner parking sensors. There are also two new colour options, to go with the new interior additions. Check them ALL out right here:
At long last, here is the 2015 Perodua Myvi facelift: adorned with fresh looks, some new gear, and more affordable prices than the previous range of Malaysia’s favourite vehicle. To warm you up to the new Perodua Myvi, let’s start by saying that no mechanical changes have been applied anywhere here, so all major components, from its engine and transmission to chassis and suspension, are identical to what was before – we’ll clarify what’s new in further detail, below.
Proton launched its Iriz last year and there was no doubt that its target was to topple the Perodua Myvi as the nation’s most-loved. In our previous spec comparison between the two, the Iriz came out on top with an impressive safety package available on all variants across the range. So what has Perodua done to make its Myvi “Lagi Best” than before? Let’s jump right into it.
Here is the 2015 Perodua Myvi – which launches very soon – shown with 2 faces that you will be able to choose from. Here are a set of pictures that’s just been sent to us by a reader who wishes to be unknown for the moment, which clearly show us what’s en route to Perodua showrooms nationwide.
