All-New 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Debuts On 1 August, Microsite Now Live

A dedicated microsite of the all-new 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has gone live featuring a teaser image of the model accompanied by a countdown timer to its global debut.

With the tagline “Designed for perfection”, the new Pajero Sport has already been completely revealed in these spyshots, giving us a look at the SUV’s exterior design featuring Mitsubishi’s “Dynamic Shield” front with sleek headlamps and LED daytime lights. At the rear, the tail lamp clusters extend towards the bottom of the tailgate, a radical departure from the outgoing model.

With the Triton’s underpinnings adopted for the Pajero Sport, expect Mitsubishi’s new aluminium block 2.4-litre turbo-diesel engine to be utilised here as well.

Specifications may differ depending on the markets where the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport will be sold however. For instance, when the all-new Triton was launched in Malaysia, it featured the familiar 2.5-litre DI-D Hyper Common Rail DOHC turbo-diesel engine instead of the new one mentioned above.
