This Is How The 2017 Toyota Supra Might Look Like

By digitally peeling away the camouflage materials from spyshots that are supposedly referring to the new generation Toyota Supra, the folks at Jalopnik have produced a digital render of what they think the upcoming 2017 Toyota Supra – assuming that Toyota will retain the iconic nameplate - should look like.

Jalopnik also adds that a source familiar with the project shared some bits of information, and that apart from details for the headlights and wheels, the render is very close to what the actual production car will look like.

It also adds that the Supra’s front-end design is rather similar to the 2014 Toyota FT-1 Concept car.

As reported earlier, the model is co-developed with BMW, with BMW’s version, possibly called a BMW Z5, using a roadster bodytype while Toyota’s version will be a hard-top coupe.

Disguised prototypes of the same car have also been spotted outside BMW’s headquarters in Munich.

Rumour has it that the next generation Toyota Supra/BMW Z5 twins will be unveiled in November at the coming Los Angeles Auto Show.
