Perodua Myvi First Generation (2005-2010)

The Perodua Myvi first model was produced in 2005 and was essentially a rebadged version of the Daihatsu Sirion. The Perodua Myvi comes in five variants - 1.0SR, 1.3SX, 1.3EZ, 1.3SXi and 1.3EZi. The Perodua Myvi comes in either manual or automatic transmission, depending on the variant. A Perodua Myvi Special Edition (Perodua Myvi SE) equipped with modified bumpers, side skirting and spoiler was also subsequently released. The Perodua Myvi SE comes in both manual and automatic transmission. In 2008, a facelift Perodua Myvi SE was launched which provided mild modifications compared to the previous Myvi SE.

Perodua Myvi Second Generation (2011-2017)

The second generation of the Perodua Myvi was launched in 2011 which saw several improvements and updates to both the exterior and interior. The Perodua Myvi second generation also comes in five variants - 1.3 Standard, 1.3 Premium, 1.3 Elegance, 1.5SE (Special Edition) and 1.5 Extreme and also comes in either manual or automatic transmission depending on the variant. In 2015, Perodua released a facelift version of the 2011 Perodua Myvi. The Perodua Myvi 2015 version saw an addition of one variant, Perodua Myvi 1.5  Advance.

Similarly to the first generation, the Perodua Myvi second generation interior is also rather spacious given the fact it is a compact hatchback car. The Perodua Myvi maintained its air conditioning, power windows and power steering but also saw an addition of keyless entry, an audio system with USB connectivity, leather seats and touch-screen infotainment systems for higher trim levels.

Perodua Myvi Third Generation (2017-Present)

The Perodua Myvi third generation was released in late 2017. The biggest enhancement which was implemented in the Perodua Myvi 2017 was the eco-idle function. The Perodua Myvi is offered in four variants - 1.3 Standard G, 1.5 Premium X, 1.5 Premium High and 1.5 Advance AV. The 1.3 variant was initially offered in both manual and automatic transmissions, but the manual transmission has been removed due to low sales and now only automatic transmission is available for all variants. The Perodua Myvi Gear Up kit is an enhanced version of the Perodua Myvi 1.5 AV which allows customers to add-on accessories to give the car a sportier look. 

The third generation Perodua Myvi interior is equipped with keyless entry and start, power windows with auto driver’s window, digital air conditioning controls, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, height adjustable driver seat, integrated shopping hook and anti-snatch hook. An addition of bluetooth connectivity, touchscreen head unit with reverse camera and smartphone mirroring function, built-in toll reader and leather seats are also available in the higher variants.

Perodua Myvi Colours

The Perodua Myvi has gone through several colour changes over the years. As of the latest, the Perodua Myvi 2017 comes in six colours - Ivory White, Glittering Silver, Electric Blue, Granite Grey, Cranberry Red and Lava Red, which was only available for selected variants.
