2020 Honda CR-V - 1,700 bookings, 1,300 sudah deliver

The 2020 Honda CR-V facelift was launched on November 5, 2020. Fast-forward five weeks later and it's amassed 1,700 bookings with 1,300 units already delivered nationwide.

It seems there really is no stopping the CR-V juggernaut from crushing all in its path. Its competitors, the Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV4, and Nissan X-Trail can only just stop and awe, if there's anyone that can steal the thunder from the CR-V, it is local hero, the Proton X70. 

Honda Malaysia says "The New CR-V is an all-in-one SUV that can fulfill customers’ demand with its complete package of safety, performance, and spacious interior." - and they've carried over this tried and tested formula across all generations of the CR-V - fine-tuning bits and pieces along the way. 

The most popular variant is the 1.5L TC-P 2WD, making up 46% of the bookings. 

Unsurprisingly the Central region leads the way with number of bookings, 45 percent in total followed by the Southern region with 20 percent, and the Northern region with 19 percent. 

In a change from the monochrome preferences of Malaysia with regard to car colour, the Dark Olive Metallic is the preferred colour of choice with 30 percent of total bookings. 

To date, more than 1,300 units of the 2020 Honda CR-V facelift have been delivered to customers nationwide.
