Audi Introduces All-New Q3 To Malaysian Market, RM 269,900

Slowly but surely, Audi is pushing their newest models through for the Malaysian market. Latest to enter the fray is the all-new Audi Q3, which is the smallest SUV (or crossover) in their line-up. While it will be making its public debut at the upcoming Premium Auto Car Expo (PACE) from November 2nd to 3rd, we figure it would be good to go through a couple of the details first.

Of course it's the new design with sleeker styling that catches the eye first, with the Singleframe octagon grill dominating the front end, flanked by narrow headlights in full LED trim. The side and rear are also more athletic in design, with more aggressive contouring and dynamic turn signals for the rear LED tail lights.

An important highlight with this model is the fact that it's the first Audi model in Malaysia to come with the latest version of the Virtual Cockpit Plus in addition to the MMI touch with navigation. The 12.3 inch screen that sits right in front of the driver offers a wealth of information and flexibility in configuration, while the 10.1 inch infotainment unit displays as much as you need and can be operated by either touch control or natural language voice control.

In terms of overall size, the Audi Q3 has grown in every dimensions. It measures in at 4,484 millimeters long, 1,849 millimeters wide, and 1,585 millimeters high, with a wheelbase that's a whopping 77 millimeters longer than before for that every important legroom. Even the rear seats can be moved across a range of 150 millimeters to vary the legroom depending on how much bootspace you need.

There is but a singular powertrain offering for Malaysia at the singular RM 269,900 price point: a 1.4 TFSI petrol engine pushes 150 hp to the front wheels through a 6-speed S Tronic transmission as standard, allowing for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 207 km/h. The all-new Audi Q3 is fully imported from Hungary.
