MINI, on the other hand, rose by a healthy 11% year-on-year.BMW's bike division, Motorrad celebrated its sixth consecutive year of double-digit growth with 2,001 motorcycles delivered in 2017, up 10% from the previous year. Another notable highlight of 2017 is the expansion of the PHEV vehicles sales, up by 269 percent year-on-year.In a separate but related development, BMW is also planning to localise the assembly of its PHEV batteries in Thailand.On a global level, BMW Group achieved the best ever annual sales with a total of 2,463,526 vehicles delivered across its BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce brands.
