Naza Kia Reveals Pricing of Kia Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI

We might have gotten an early taste of Kia’s handsome Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI earlier this year, but the answer to the most important unanswered question has only recently been revealed. That question of course is its price, which is available at a price of RM135,888. Well below initial estimations. 

According to Naza Kia Malaysia that makes the Cerato Koup the most affordable 200hp car in its segment. With a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with direct injection, the Cerato Koup has 204hp and 265Nm of torque to play with. Paired to a six-speed automatic the two-door Cerato is able to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 7.4 seconds, a figure which Naza Kia says, earns it the title of ‘fastest car in its class’.

Tarting up the Cerato Koup’s looks are the fitment of black high-gloss door mirrors and door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual muffler tail trim, carbon-fibre look bumper garnish, and LED taillights. Inside the cabin is fitted with a 4.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with reverse camera, 6-speaker audio system, sunroof, smart welcome lighting, and dual-zone climate control with a cluster ionizer.

Like the four-door Cerato sedans, the Cerato Koup’s power steering system comes with the flex steer feature which allows drivers to switch between three power steering modes, ‘Comfort’, ‘Normal’, and ‘Sport’.

In terms of safety the Cerato Koup is equipped with a full complement of safety systems with Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS with EBD and brake assist, hill-start assist, six airbags, and ISOFIX child seat anchor points.
