Nearly 25 Years After The Kancil, Perodua Adds ABS To Axia G

It took them almost a quarter of a century to do it, but better late than never. Starting January 2016, Perodua will be adding ABS to the Axia G variant, which will also see its price increasing by RM1,500.

There is no mention of any upgrades for the base-model Axia E, which we presume will continue to be sold without ABS.

“For our customers who have booked their Axia G between 1st October and 10^th December but have yet to receive their vehicle; Perodua will offer a RM500 Perodua voucher as a token,” Perodua President & CEO, Datuk (Dr) Aminar Rashid Salleh said.

"Booking made from 11th December onwards will be subjected to the new price and delivery will be from January 2016 onwards," he said.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and we thank you for supporting Perodua,” Aminar added.

Up until now, ABS is only available on the SE and Advance variants of the Axia.
