Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Launched In Malaysia – 3 Variants, From RM990,000

Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the authorised distributor of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia today celebrated the introduction of the Panamera Sport Turismo, a shooting brake and 4+1 seater version of the Panamera (4-seater is optional).

Based on the second-gen Panamera sports saloon, the Sport Turismo will be offered in three variants in Malaysia:

• Panamera 4 Sport Turismo – RM990,000
• Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo – RM1,125,000
• Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo – RM1,194,000

The entry Panamera 4 Sport Turismo is powered by a 3.0L V6 turbo engine making 350 hp and 450 Nm, which enables the car to do the century sprint in 5.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 259 km/h.

The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo on the other hand, is powered by a 2.9L V6 bi-turbo engine and an electric motor, producing a total output of 462 hp and 700 Nm of torque, giving it a 0 – 100 km/h sprint time of 4.6 seconds. With a full charge, the car has a maximum electric driving range of up to 51 km.

The range topping Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo on the other hand is powered by a 4.0L V8 bi-turbo engine which kicks out 550 hp and 770 Nm of torque, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 100kmh in 3.6 seconds.

All variants are paired to Porsche’s 8-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission, driving all four wheels.

As a shooting brake, the tailgate opens like a hatchback, to reveal a cargo volume of 520 litres, 20 litres than a Panamera sedan. The 40:20:40 split folding rear seats can be folded down to expand the boot space to 1,390 litres. The hybrid model shown here however, has a smaller 425 litres boot (1,295 with the rear seats folded)

Unlike the 4 seater Panamera sedan, the Panamera Sport Turismo comes standard as a 4+1 seater, but an optional 4-seat configuration with electrically adjustable individual rear seats is also available.
