The Porsche 911 is one the most iconic sports cars that has a huge fan base all around the world. Being in production for more than 50 years, it is one of the oldest sports car nameplates to be still in production and as of now 2013 than 820,000 examples have been sold.
Porsche Malaysia sells several variants of the 911, here in a three body styles that include Coupe, Cabriolet and Targa. Competing with this German icon are sports cars from various European carmakers including Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, Aston Martin and more. The entry level 911 Coupe 3.0 starts at RM 870,000, while the crown jewel of the line-up, the Turbo S and GT3 RS variant that will set you back a cool RM1.75 million.
Porsche offers the 911 sports car with several turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines as well as in both rear- and all-wheel drive layouts depending on the variant you choose. Engine sizes range from 3.0-litres to 4.0-litres, while power output level begins at 370hp/450Nm and goes up all the way up to 560hp/750Nm. Although a manual transmission is available in some parts of the world, Porsche Malaysia only offers its dual-clutch PDK automatic transmission for the 911 range.
