Porsche Malaysia’s answer to mid-size luxury SUVs like the Volvo XC60, Audi Q5, Lexus NX, and BMW X3 is the 2017 Macan. Offered here in five variants, it wears a starting price tag of RM415,000.
Like its elder brother, the Cayenne, this model is offered here with a range of petrol and diesel powertrains starting with a humble 2.0-litre petrol four-pot and going all the way up to a twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre V6 mill.
All Malaysian-spec Porsche Macan variants are fitted with the carmaker's seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and all-wheel drive system as standard. Power output on the other hand ranges from 252hp to 400hp in the Turbo variant. Performance wise the range topper is capable of scooting from a standstill to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds and up to a top speed of 266km/h.
