The 2015 Suzuki Swift is a B-segment hatchback, which competes with the likes of Kia Rio, Proton Iriz, Mitsubishi Mirage, Volkswagen Polo Hatchback, Ford Fiesta, Honda Jazz and Malaysia’s best-selling model the Perodua Myvi. Priced between RM58, 227 and RM102, 788, the 2015 Swift is available with two different engine options and in five variants - 1.4 GA, 1.4 GL, 1.4 GLX, 1.6 Sport (M) and 1.6 Sport CVT.

Under the hoods of the two Suzuki Swift Sport variants is the M16A 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine that sends 136hp at 6,900rpm and 160Nm at 4,400rpm to the front wheels. Gearbox option for this engine include a good ol' six-speed manual and also a continiously variable automatic transmission. Exclusive to the Sport versions are features such as sports seats, an aggressive bodykit, twin tailpipes and 16-inch special design alloy wheels.
