All the petrol engines are equipped with TFSI®, a consequent combination of economical direct injection and turbocharging. As standard, all engines are equipped with the start-stop system and recuperation, as a result of which they are among the most fuel-efficient power units of their class.
The A4 models use TFSI® technology. And the remarkable thing about it is it combines the advantages of FSI® with a supercharger, which ensures even better power delivery. All TFSI engine features as standard a start-stop system and of course fulfil the EU5 emission standard. The 1.8 TFSI has 125 kW of power and a maximum torque of 320 Nm and is one of the most fuel-efficient engines of its class. The Audi valvelift system lowers consumption and due to an intelligent thermal management the engine reaches its operating temperature faster. At the same time, it directs heat to the interior which increases your comfort and helps to lower fuel consumption. With its 155 kW, the 2.0 TFSI has an output rating of up to 350 Nm. It is characterised by good consumption values and low CO2 emissions.
