Ford is just the king of sneakiness these days, aren’t they? From totally surprising us with a Ranger facelift late last year, to drawing up an all-new Ford GT while no one, I repeat, no one, was looking or expecting one, they’re at it again. And this time, it’s a lot closer to home.
Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), the local distributors of Ford vehicles in Malaysia, have begun teases us about the coming of its facelifted 2015 Ford Ranger – a style we’d never seen anywhere in the world, until SDAC decided to send us a picture and a video back in December.
That picture (above), and the video (below), has been loaded for you to check out here, largely shows off the Ranger's new face, which features a shape of front grille we've never seen before.
Three months later, and now, they’re at it again: sending us an email that simply says, “Are you ready for the new Ford Ranger?” and attaching a video of the car being tested in the Australian Outback by its engineers.
You can watch that below too.
For now, officials are remaining completely hush about any of this, so here, we guess, is a simple reminder of what’s to come from SDAC and Ford Malaysia soon enough. Do enjoy.
