All-New Alfa Romeo Giulia To Be Unveiled On June 24

Alfa Romeo is looking to introduce its all-new midsize sedan, commonly referred to as the Giulia, on June 24 at its museum in Arese, just outside Milan with this official teaser released by the company.

The new car will go up against the established big three German brands and respective cars which include the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series, and Audi A4. With an entirely new chassis, design language, and drivetrains to be featured, this new model which has yet to confirm its ‘Giulia’ naming, is an important model to ensure Alfa Romeo’s survival.

Nothing much can be seen from the teaser aside from a heavily blurred image of the car with a sporty profile to it.

Internally, it is referred to as ‘Type 949’ and is rumoured to ride on a rear-wheel drive Giorgio platform with an all-wheel drive option available as well. Powerplant options are said to include a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit with a Ferrari-derived V6 developed specially for Alfa Romeo as being made available too.
