With over 250 high-end reconditioned cars plus many more high-end motorcycles, classic cars, and new cars on offer, the first ever AutoFest Kuala Lumpur 2016 is set draw huge crowds next month.

The three day event will take place from 13-May to 15-May, at the Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

It’s organised by Red Jacket Events Sdn. Bhd. and sponsored by the Association of Malay Importers and Traders of Motor Vehicles (PEKEMA).

“At least 40 PEKEMA members have confirmed their participation, with many more expressing their interest, but we have limited spaces and we want to avoid a situation where the event to consists only of PEKEMA members’ cars. We are inviting many other dealers to participate,” said PEKEMA’s Dato’ SM Zulkifli SM Amin at a press conference earlier today.

Apart from reconditioned luxury cars, new car dealers will also be participating at the event, with a separate hall within the Martrade building dedicated to hosting new car dealers.

To further facilitate the car buying process, Hong Leong Islamic Bank will also be offering pre-approved financing packages to qualified individuals who intend to purchase a vehicle at the event.

Gracing the event are personalities like racing driver Fairuz Fauzy and Tengku Djan, as well as the cast of Bikers Kental 2 – Awie, Afdlin Shauki, Zizan, and Bront Palarae.

There will also be a Lotus-only gymkhana event, exhibition of modified cars, as well as a summons payment counter (JPJ and PDRM).

Supporting the event is a social media contest by Yayasan Patriot Negara Malaysia, where winners of the #MyDreamPlateAutoFestKL will go home with a special edition Patriot number plate.
