Bermaz Motor's MazdaSports Division Launches MazdaSports Academy

It's no secret that Mazda has a strong affiliation with motorsports and a strong belief in the value of driving pleasure - jinba ittai, and all that. What's interesting is that we're finally seeing that same enthusiasm locally, with Bermaz Motor's MazdaSports Division and the launch of their first driver training program. Known as the MazdaSports Academy, the one day course is aimed at teaching participants how to drive their Mazda vehicles, starting with things as basic as seating position to more complex techniques.

The first course is being held at Serdang on the 9th of June, 2018, and will be limited to just 20 Mazda owners - specifically those who own a Mazda 2, Mazda 3, or Mazda CX-3. Owners will be required to participate with their own vehicles, and it's advised that you register quickly to grab your slots. To find out more, call 1800 22 8080 or visit the Mazda Malaysia Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/mazdamy/.

Places more value in how fun a car is to drive than outright performance or luxury. He laments the direction that automotive development is headed in, but grudgingly accepts the logic behind it. Can be commonly found trying to fix yet another problem on his rusty project car.
