BMW Malaysia Introduces New 4 Series and Special Pricing for X6

BMW Group Malaysia today announced the introduction of the new 4 Series, as well as a special 100^th Year Anniversary Celebrations pricing for the X6.

Offered in four coupe variants and a Gran Coupe version, the new 4 Series’ price is as mentioned below:

•             BMW 420i Coupé                -                    RM 297,800.00
•             BMW 420i Coupé Sport      -                     RM 317,800.00
•             BMW 430i Coupé Sport      -                     RM 356,800.00
•             BMW 430i Coupé M Sport  -                     RM 386,800.00
•             BMW 430i Gran Coupé M Sport    -           RM 416,800.00

The big news with the new 4 Series is the new B48 aluminium inline-four cylinder engine with TwinPower turbo, which is mated to the engine is an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Although the same engine powers all variants, total output varies from one model to another due to different states of tuning.

While the 420i and 420i Sport’s engines produce 184hp and 270Nm of maximum torque, the 430i Sport, 430i M Sport, and the 430i Grand Coupe on the other hand come with a powertrain package capable of kicking out 252hp and 350Nm of maximum torque.

As far as performance is concerned, the 420i and 420i Sport are capable of sprinting from standstill to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 236km/h, with a claimed fuel consumption reading of 5.5-litres per 100km.

Meanwhile, the 430i Sport, 430i M Sport and the 430i Gran Coupe’s engines produce 252 hp and a maximum torque of 350Nm respectively. This translates into 5.8 seconds in sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h, and a top speed of 250 km/h. Fuel consumption stands at 5.9 litres per 100 kilometres for the 3 models.
