You’ve seen it from a bunch of professional shots, now here’s ours, live from our AMG driving experience in Dresdan, Germany.
Here, you see the new Mercedes-Benz Motorsport Edition: a new design line available for all A-Class variants from the A 200 and up, except for the range-topping A 45 model.
The car is as you see, dressed up with a lot of “petrol green” paint, and a full AMG Sport line exterior kit: rear wing, large 19-inch alloy wheels, front splitter, rear diffuser… the works. You may find this all a bit too familiar, and yes, the Motorsport Edition is similar to that of the special Petronas Motorsport edition that was sold only in Japan, in very limited numbers.
Inside, there’s also a AMG line interior much alike that available on the A 45, with a black leather/ DINAMICA microfiber upholstery.
Most interestingly, the pictures you see here depict a manual transmission variant: a six-speed transmission, three foot pedals and everything.
We’ll be bringing you more live pictures from our A-Class event happening live in Dresdan at the moment, so stay tuned for more.
In the meantime, how would you like to see the A-Class Motorsport Edition in Malaysia?
