Honda Adds More Locations For Airbag Recall Campaign

In an effort to speed up the Honda Airbag Recall campaign, Honda Malaysia has been adding more and more locations at which customers can carry out the airbag module replacement process. The idea is to make it as convenient as possible so that owners do not have to go out of their way to make an appointment or go to a specific service centre.

While there have been mobile units going from neighbourhood to neighbour, Honda is also doubling their efforts in a partnership with PETRONAS in order to allow customers to change the specific parts at a number of Petronas stations across the country. This comes in addition to various service hubs that will be set up at shopping malls, along with the upcoming Honda Family Road Trip (HFRT) events taking place across the country. Progress has been steady over the last few months, with 100% parts availability for the front driver module and roughly 75% of affected units having undergone replacement. Honda customers can check their vehicles recall status either by logging on to www.honda.com.my or www.productrecall.honda.com.my or by calling the Honda Toll Free number 1-800-88-2020.
