KLIMS 2018: Perodua Teases Upcoming SUV

Perodua has finally brought out its new SUV model, one that is based heavily on the recently-introduced Toyota Rush.

While the upcoming SUV remains confined to a box, Perodua was kind enough to provide holes around the box to allow visitors to take a glimpse at its new model.

After a quick peek at the new Perodua SUV, we found that most of the exterior is identical to the Toyota Rush. Despite that we can expect some Perodua touches to the front bumper, grille, rear bumper, and wheels.

Under the hood, we can expect Perodua to utilize the same powertrain as the new Toyota Rush, featuring a 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 4-speed automatic, sending drive to the rear wheels.

As Perodua has officially teased its new SUV, an introduction should be just around the corner. Stay tuned for that.
