LEAKED: All-New MINI Cooper Clubman Images Hit The WebAuto News
No official details have been spilled just yet, but going off the pictures leaked here, we can tell that it’s all wildly different from its predecessor. Visibly longer than the MINI Cooper hatch is one thing to note, but that rear-end design is something we’ve never seen yet: those taillights are especially attention grabbing.
As we imagine, the new Clubman will be underpinned by the BMW Group’s UKL1 front-wheel drive architecture, which also holds the latest-gen MINI hatch together, as well as the BMW X1, and 2 Series Gran Tourer and Active Tourer.
Around the rear of the Clubman is where you’ll find its unique distinctions, primarily in the form of two doors that open into the cargo area.
Engine wise, we could see the new MINI feature the BMW Group’s latest three- and four-cylinder engines, all of which adhering to BMW’s new 500cc per cylinder philosophy.
We’ll be back shortly with full details of the all-new MINI Clubman, so stay tuned.
