New Mercedes-Benz City Service Outlet Opened by Hap Seng Star

A new Mercedes-Benz dealership opens at the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Touted as the first outlet of its kind, the new Mercedes-Benz City Service is operated by Hap Seng Star, which also runs six other Mercedes-Benz Autohaus dealerships across the country.

Situated along the former Jalan Ipoh, the Mercedes-Benz City Service outlet was built at a cost of RM7 million. It provides employment to 45 staffs and its aftersales section has the capacity to service over 50 vehicles per day, up to 1,100 per month.

“This first-of-its-kind feature is part of our customer-centric strategy, strategically-located, offers easy access for our valued customers located in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre,” said Mercedes-Benz Malaysia President and CEO, Dr Claus Weidner.

Appearance of the outlet complies with the latest Mercedes-Benz Presentation System II (MPS) corporate image standards, featuring a Star Lounge café, Wi-Fi, and other amenities.

Additionally, the new outlet is also pioneering the introduction of the newly-introduced Mercedes-Benz Service Differentiation, which provides the convenience of Premier Express Service, Drop & Go, and Door to Door Service for customers.

The Premier Express Service facility allows customers, with an appointment beforehand, to have routine maintenance on their cars performed within a time frame of 30 minutes to an hour.

Additionally, services such as Drop & Go (where customers can drop off their vehicles any time outside business hours) or Door to Door (complimentary pick up and return for servicing) enables the new City Service outlet to cater to the needs of customers with busy schedules. All vehicles that undergo this service enjoy full insurance protection from Hap Seng Star.

To date, Hap Seng Star has invested over RM180 million in its network of Mercedes-Benz dealerships, which operate in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kinrara, Balakong, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, and Miri.
