Kia has announced that the all-new, fourth-generation Rio will make its world premiere on 29 September at the 2016 Paris International Motor Show.
According to the company, the new Rio will feature new and progressive exterior as well as interior design. Other changes include a longer front overhang and bonnet, longer wheelbase, and a redesigned upright C-pillar.
The car is also expected to offer buyers improved practicality, safety technology, and also the latest connectivity features compared to the current model.
Kia has not released any technical details yet, but it did mention that the new Rio will offer a more assured and engaging ride and handling characteristics.
Currently the brand’s global best-selling model with more than 473,000 sold, the next generation Rio will enter production towards the end of 2016 for Europe, with production timings for other regions to be announced closer to launch.
Kia’s 2016 Paris International Motor Show press conference will start on 29 September, where the brand’s stand will be located in Hall 3 of the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
