MINI follows in the price shuffle that automakers in Malaysia have been carrying out since the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax on April 1st.
In contrast to what we observed earlier, the BMW sub-brand has introduced price reductions ranging from RM1000 all the way to RM5000 – that being the John Cooper Works Countryman model that drops from RM318,888.00 to RM 313,888.00 – following the announcements at the ongoing BMW World Malaysia Exhibition (17-19 April).
The Cooper 5 Door, John Cooper Works 3 Door, and Cooper Countryman are the only exceptions to the range-wide shift in MINI’s prices as these new models are already GST-inclusive.
