Proton Holdings Berhad has renewed its Collective Agreements (CA) with the company’s union members – replacing previous CAs, which expired in December 2015. The agreement was inked between Proton Holdings Berhad and the Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd (“PONSB”) and Proton Tanjung Malim Sdn Bhd (“PTMSB”) workers’ union respectively.
The move is in tandem with Proton’s “One Company Mindset” and “Management-Union as a Team” goals to foster better understanding and collaborations between both entities of the company.
The CAs are renewable once every 3 years, the newest CA aims to provide certain improvements for employees including alignment of a new minimum wage order, employee insurance for personal accident, term life, medical insurance and bereavement benefits.
