Proton today announced the opening of its latest 3S centre in Jalan Kapar, Klang.
Operated by Pantai Bharu Corporation Sdn Bhd, the outlet previously ran on a 1S and 2S basis on seperate premises.
The new outlet has 12 service bays, 8 hoists, 3 delivery bays, and also 70 customer parking bays.
In addition, there is also a waiting area which can hold more than 30 customers, a play area to keep children occupied, coffee and phone/laptop charging area for customers, as well as free Wi-Fi connection for customers.
“We need to move on and stay relevant. The market is fluid and what works today may not work tomorrow. So the intention to relocate to a new area to provide better customer experience was inevitable,” said Dato Shamshudin Nor, the owner of Pantai Bharu Corporation Sdn Bhd.
To date, Proton has upgraded 87 of its outlets to 3S and 4S centres, which translates to 80% of the targeted 109 outlets, all set to be completed by October this year.
“We are positive that the new and fresh looking facility will attract more customers, and push our sales and service level upwards. We foresee a 100% increase in sales and service with the inception of this outlet upgrade,” said Dato Shamshudin.
