Asean NCAP is organising the 'Stop the Crash Asean 2016' event that will be held on 29 to 30 November 2016 at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC).
The Stop the Crash Partnership which is led by Global NCAP is a new initiative to promote crash avoidance technologies.
The technologies that will be featured during the demonstration include electronic stability control (ESC), autonomous emergency braking (AEB), anti-lock braking system (ABS) for motorcycles, tyre safety and blind spot monitoring.
Asean NCAP hopes to educate the general public on the benefits of these crash avoidance technologies, who Asean NCAP hopes will create the market demand for these systems to be made available in locally available models.
