Tesla has released a single teaser image accompanying their unveil date of their latest product, the Model Y.
The Model Y is expected to slot beneath their flagship Model X. In a tweet by the Elon Musk, CEO and co-founder of Tesla, the Model Y is set to have a lower range and 10 percent higher pricing than the Model 3 sedan it is based on.
Fans of the brand and sources familiar with the matter said the Model Y will share the same dashboard with the 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system and cabin space for just five seats.
Nice Try! Our constant desire to adjust all lighting parameters in teaser images have finally been rewarded!
Tesla has so far only begun plant upgrade works with the schedule to only commence volume production of the Tesla Y by the end of 2020.
This fourth model also completes Musk's initial desire to have a line-up of 'SEXY' vehicles, with the S, 3, X, and now Y. Model 3 could not be named Model E due to protest from Ford Motor Company.
More information on the new all-electric crossover will be available on Friday, 15th March
