Home News Auto News Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Makes Its Debut At 2015 NYIAS Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Makes Its Debut At 2015 NYIAS Auto News Gerard | April 03, 2015 12:33 pm Following the release of a teaser image and attached brief message, Toyota has unveiled the new 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid 4WD, the eighth hybrid in the company’s range. The reveal of the hybrid model coincides with the introduction of the refreshed RAV4 at the New York International Auto Show.Details are scarce on certain specifics like the performance of the hybrid powertrain including its fuel economy ability and range. However, the powertrain itself is comprised a 2.5-litre petrol engine paired to an electric motor to power the front wheels, with another electric motor powering the rear axle to deliver electronic all-wheel drive.
