Hyundai Grand Starex 2018

The Hyundai Grand Starex facelift edition was launched in Malaysia in 2018 and was offered in only a single variant, the Grand Starex Executive. The Grand Starex 2018 facelift edition received an upgrade to its exterior where the previous vertical headlamp had been changed to trapezoidal-shaped headlamps. However, the rear lamps and roof spoiler remain unchanged. The Grand Starex interior is similar to the Thailand version of the Grand Starex. The interior is equipped with a touchscreen head unit which resides between a pair of air vents. The Grand Starex interior has a single-zone air-conditioning and controllable rear blowers for each row of seats. Similar to the previous Grand Starex, the second row seats can be turned to face the third row seats and the sliding doors are manually operated. Additional features of the Hyundai Grand Starex facelift edition include 16-inch alloy wheels, front and rear fog lamps, automatic lights, parking sensors, rear top-mounted monitor display, six speakers, cruise control, traction control and ABS. Hyundai Sime Darby Malaysia introduced the second Hyundai Grand Starex facelift edition in 2020 and is the version that is still available on sale today. The Hyundai Grand Starex 2020 was launched in two variants, the Grand Starex Executive Plus and Grand Starex Executive Prime. Some of the new features of the Grand Starex 2020 facelift edition include newly designed 16-inch wheels, halogen projector headlights and fog lamps, four-point LED daytime running lights with gloss black surrounds and a four-piece bodykit with grey contrast finishing. The previously optional leather seats are now the standard and the second row swivel function is maintained. Other features that have also been maintained include a rear top-mounted monitor, rear air vents and four speakers. The Grand Starex 2020 facelift also adds a touchscreen infotainment system with DVD playback support and three USB ports. Exclusive for the Grand Starex Executive Prime variant includes powered tailgate, keyless entry with push-start button and powered sliding door. Four colours are available for the Grand Starex 2020 facelift - Creamy White, Moonlight Cloud, Timeless Black and Hyper Silver. The specifications for the engine are the same as the Grand Starex 2018 edition.
