Proton Persona BH6

The third generation Proton Persona was launched in 2016 in three variants - Standard, Executive and Premium, with the Standard available in either a manual or automatic transmission. The Proton Persona is available in six colours - Midnight Black, Sterling Silver, Cotton White, Graphite Grey, Fire Red and Carnelian Brown. The Proton Persona Standard features height adjustable halogen headlamps, rear fog lamps, 15-inch wheels in grey, power-adjustable wing mirrors, manual key start, single-DIN head unit with Bluetooth connectivity, fabric upholstery and height adjustable driver’s seat. The Proton Persona Executive adds front fog lamps, body-coloured side mirrors and door handles, rear spoiler, double-DIN head unit with Bluetooth connectivity, gloss titanium chrome centre console surrounding, rear USB charging ports, 60:40 rear seat split folding and fabric door trim. The Proton Persona received its first facelift in 2019 in the same variants as previously offered. The Proton Persona 1.6 exterior features a redesigned front chrome trim, slimmer lower grille with larger air intakes, additional slim gloss black strip, revised bumper with chrome strip, shark fin antenna and silver 15-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. The Proton Persona interior features a revised instrument cluster and three USB ports. The facelifted Proton Persona is offered in five colours - Jet Grey, Snow White, Ruby Red, Rosewood Maroon and Armour Silver. The Proton Persona Standard receives halogen headlights, 15-inch alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, rear spoiler, manual air-conditioning, fabric upholstery, urethane steering wheel, LCD multi-info display and double-DIN radio/CD player with Bluetooth and USB connectivity and two rear USB ports. The Proton Persona Executive adds LED daytime running lights, keyless entry, part-leather upholstery, multi-function steering wheel, colour multi-info display, automatic up/down driver’s window, 7-inch infotainment touchscreen and reverse camera with dynamic guidelines. The Proton Persona Premium adds on automatic headlights, two-tone alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, frameless rearview mirror and ‘Hi Proton’ voice command.  

The Proton Persona received its second facelift in 2021 which saw the discontinuation of the Standard manual transmission variant and is the version that is currently sold. The Proton Persona Standard features 15-inch wheels, halogen headlamps, rear spoiler in body colour, urethane steering wheel, LCD multi-information display, power windows, fabric upholstery and manual air-conditioning.
