The Volvo XC40 was first launched in Malaysia in 2018 in a single variant - the Volvo XC40 T5 AWD R-Design. The Volvo XC40 Momentum was not launched in Malaysia. The Volvo XC40 R-Design exterior features LED headlights and daytime running lights, high-pressure headlight cleaners, gloss black grille, integrated dual exhaust outlets, roof rails, skid plates and door mirror caps in gloss black and 19-inch alloy wheels.
