Well, the Honda Insight was a 1.3 Litre Hybrid. Own it close to 5 years now, the experience with it was Love and Hate. Loving that it is a Hybrid Car that will Save Fuel but Hating that in order to get full Fuel Consumption out of it, you need to drive it pretty slow and always make sure you are going to a place with lots of downhill to generate more Battery and avoid going to places with lots of uphill or it will eat up all your precious accumulated km/L. Every time leaving the petrol station with a reseted Trip setting to check the FC of the car, it stays well above 16.5km/L, but as soon as you need to have a little boost on some short and stiff uphill; Your FC dropped from 16.5km/L to 12km/L and you have yet to reach the end of the uphill. Even when you were cruising it out station, you need to make sure the colour of the speedometer stays in green, which is literally hard to achieve if your hybrid battery were not charged more than half. My experience with it going to Genting and Cameron was, DO NOT use green tyres when you were going those super curvy and stiff uphill. I literally stayed for close to 10 seconds with full throttle and the car is still not moving an inch... After changing the front 2 sets of tyre with Continental's CC6 tyres. The car feels much better on handling all the uphills. Besides these issues, the car is very easy to drive once you get used to the Auto-Start/Stop features. I find it that the Eco mode of the car shines during slow traffic, but not during cruising on Highways. So far there wasn't any issue with the car after owning it for 5 years, Kudos to Honda for giving me a nice experience with it. Thank you for reading this. Less

These car has been with me for the past 7 years and has work tremendously fine but after fixing the major issues (engine prob) it turns out perfectly fine for second buyer but just bear in mind that you guys have to change the battery pack to maintain the hybrid power. Other than that just wear and tear. Have fun cruising around town! Less

If you want to find a low maintenance & very superb saving car, it is the right car to choose.
