BMW Malaysia Unveils Refreshed 2021 630i GT M Sport

Even though the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo is one of the least popular models in BMW Malaysia's locally assembled lineup, it has not stopped BMW Malaysia from giving it a refresh.

For the same price as before, BMW today unveiled the new locally-assembled 2021 BMW 630i GT M Sport, a car that BMW calls a dynamic synthesis of performance, long-distance capability, and luxury.

More of a facelift rather than new, the 2021 BMW 630i GT M Sport CKD comes with redesigned LED headlights, a larger kidney grille, and new front and rear bumpers.

The new headlights ensure maximum visibility throughout any drive, as it comes with BMW's famed Laserlight with high-beam assistant. This feature adds dynamic laser illumination technology to the LED Matrix headlights system. The laser light follows the course of the road ahead in high-beam mode, and for the first time, adapts illumination even in low-beam mode. In laser high-beam mode, the range increases to a maximum of 650 metres – nearly twice as much as that of conventional high-beam headlights.

The 2021 BMW 630i GT M Sport also comes with 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in Star-spoke style 817 M Bicolour. Just inside the beautiful wheels are blue painted M Sport brake calipers with the “M” designation, which further accentuate the sporty personality of the new Gran Turismo. Its M high-gloss Shadow Line frames also add to its sporty silhouette.

The luxurious interior is where most will appreciate the 6-Series GT and it starts with slightly elevated seats (by 5 cm), which ensures outstanding all-round visibility. Leather Dakota upholstery is what you will be sitting on and individual headliner anthracite and fine-wood ash trunkwood open-pored trim with Pearl Chrome highlight trim finisher are amongst the highlights that amplify the luxurious ambiance of the interior.
