Thanks to a joint partnership between Community Policing Malaysia (CP Malaysia) and KL & Selangor Automotive Charity Association (KUASA), lower income residents of PPR Bukit Jalil and Pangsapuri Enggang Bandar Kinrara who require medical attention but can’t afford to travel to the hospital/clinic can now do so with just 10 sen.
Open to needy members of the community, the ’Program Teksi 10 Sen’ offers transport services to nearby hospitals/clinics using a Toyota Avanza donated by KUASA.
To utilize the services, eligible members of the community will only need to sign up by paying a token fee of just 10 sen. The service is aimed primarily at residents who have to make regular visits to the hospital/clinic, whose conditions don’t typically warrant hospitals sending an ambulance to transport them on a weekly/monthly basis.
CP Malaysia is a non-profit charity organization founded by Kuan Chee Heng while KUASA is a charity initiative setup by a group of used car dealers operating in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
