Jaguar Has Revealed The Most Powerful XJ Ever; The New 2018 XJR575

Jaguar has announced the introduction of the XJR575 performance flagship model – the most powerful XJ to date.

Sitting below the range-topping XJ Autobiography, the XJR575 is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine which delivers 575PS and 700Nm of torque, enabling the car to sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 300km/h.

Available in standard and long-wheelbase bodystyles (selected markets only), customers will be able to choose between two bespoke exterior colour finishes - Velocity Blue and Satin Corris Grey.

Tailor-made exterior details on the XJR575 include a rear spoiler, side sills, front bumper and lower air intakes featuring Gloss Black surrounds, exclusive badging, twin bonnet louvres, and 20-inch Farallon gloss-black wheels with red painted brake callipers.  

Inside, the XJR575 features bespoke embossed tread plates, 575 intaglio and diamond-quilted seats, and a number of technology upgrades such as a 10-inch touchscreen with pinch-zoom function, and 4G Wi-Fi connectivity.

Safety wise, the 2018 model year XJ, including the XJR575 features Forward Traffic Detection, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Condition Monitor, Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), as well as Pedestrian Detection.
