LEAKED: 2015 Toyota Avanza Veloz For Indonesian Market Revealed

At the upcoming GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show 2015 (GIIAS) later this month, the new 2015 Toyota Avanza is expected to make its debut, but these leaked official images have found their way online before then, revealing the MPV completely undisguised.

These low quality images are sourced from Autonetmagz but a very much akin to the earlier spyshot which we posted not too long ago. The main focus is the ‘Veloz’ variant of the new Avanza which we get here, (Indonesia gets both a standard and sportier variant) seen here with a redesign of the front fascia featuring a new front bumper and larger radiator grille. New headlamps and chrome trimming that connects them are also seen as well.

Unlike the previous spyshot, this one gives us a look at the Toyota Avanza facelift’s rear which has updated tail lamps linked by a chrome bar. There doesn’t appear to be any other big change at the rear beyond that.

Expect the familiar 1.3- and 1.5-litre four-cylinder VVT-i petrol engines to be offered for the Indonesian market where the former develops 92PS and 119Nm of torque while the latter outputs 103PS and 136Nm of torque. Our Malaysian market Avanza adopts the 1.5-litre mill.
