Sime Darby Auto Connexion has launched a new variant for the Ford Ranger pick-up truck called the Special Edition, and with it adds some premium touches to justify the moniker.
Crucially, it adds a full leather interior, a 7-inch centre-mounted dashboard touchscreen with reverse camera and a stylish black sports bar to replace the more pronounced chromed alternative found in the other models.
Apart from that, Ranger Special Edition looks to be pretty much unchanged from the other models, particularly the 2.2 XLT 4x4 Automatic. Under the hood sits the familiar 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel with 150hp and 375Nm of torque.
The Ranger Special Edition also comes in two unique colours: Black Mica and True Red.
