New Honda Civic Updated For US Market, Now Standard With Sensing

Honda has updated the tenth-generation Civic with revised styling, a new Sport variant, and Honda Sensing across the range. The update applies to both the sedan and coupe models sold in North America.

Outside, the updated Civic models get a restyled front bumper and skirting, new headlights, and revised front and lower air intakes. The sedan also gets chrome garnish on the bottom half of the rear bumper. Selected variants of the Civic sedan also receive 18-inch alloy wheels.

Additionally, Honda has introduced a new Civic Sport variant, slotted between the LX and EX variant. The new Civic Sport features a piano black lower front fascia, side accents, and for the Sedan, an additional rear bootlid spoiler. Completing the exterior of the Civic Sport is a splitter-style rear lower bumper with a central exhaust, much like the Civic Si. The Civic Sport also receives a new infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine paired to a 6-speed manual, with the CVT-type automatic being a cost option.

Last but not least, Honda has fitted the Honda Sensing driving assistance feature to all variants of the 2019 Civic.
