Locally-assembled (CKD) models receive a small reduction in price by 2-3%, but prices for fully-imported (CBU) models - Civic Type R and Odyssey, have increased by the same percentage. The new SST rates are set at 10% for sales and 6% for services. Honda Malaysia’s after-sales services are subjected to a 6% service tax for maintenance labour charge.Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Toichi Ishiyama said, “With the new SST legislation taking effect on 1 st September 2018, Honda Malaysia have adjusted the prices for Honda models and after-sales services accordingly. We remain committed to providing the Joy of Buying to our customers with quality products and unique advanced features and technology”.Prices of the Honda City and Jazz Hybrid models will be announced at a later date.
