Rolls-Royce Motor Cars had confirmed in February that production of the Phantom will cease at the end of this year ahead of the new model’s launch in 2018.A new high-tech all-aluminium architecture will underpin the 2018 Phantom and will subsequently form the basis of other future Rolls-Royce models.Demand of the existing model remains strong, however, with all 50 of the final Phantom Coupe and Drophead Coupe Zenith Collection cars snapped up by wealthy collectors.In addition, orders are still coming in for the regular Phantom limousine, with customers requesting for highly bespoke and personalized one-off examples.
