Spyshot: All-New Nissan Terra Caught In Thailand

Nissan is set to introduce its latest body-on-frame SUV in China later this year. The new model is called the Nissan Terra and the model is based on the same platform as the NP300 Navara.

Thanks to the folks over at Headlightmag forum, it appears that Nissan Thailand is looking to introduce the new Terra as well, indicated by this spyshot.

The test mule pictured was wearing heavy camouflage, though the rear silhouette is unmistakably a Terra. Curiously, the Terra was caught wearing a number plate frame with the words “The Spirit Of Competition”, a slogan that was used by Mitsubishi in the past.

In terms of powertrain, the China model Nissan Terra is said to be powered by a 2.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that outputs 184 hp.

To recap, the Nissan Terra is Nissan’s newest entry into the LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) segment, aimed to challenge the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Everest and Isuzu MU-X.
