Toyo Tires Snaps Up Prince of Drift As Brand Ambassador

Toyo Tyres Malaysia appoints Tengku Djan Ley as ambassador.

It seems that all the top brands want a piece of Malaysia's 'Prince of Drift', Tengku Djan Ley, with Toyo being the latest brand to appoint him as their ambassador.

According to Toyo Tyre Sales and Marketing Malaysia, its partnership with Tengku Djan is a key activity for the company as it strengthens its presence and visibility in Malaysia and is expected to play a vital role in its marketing activities.

"We are excited to welcome Tengku Djan as Toyo Tires Brand Ambassador," said Masaomi Kono, Vice President of Toyo Tyre Sales & Marketing Malaysia. "His motorsport success and his technical knowledge definitely complement the Toyo Tires spirit & outlook, and we look forward to having a fruitful partnership in the months to come."

With Tengku Djan looking to go racing again in 2021, including the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival and GT World Challenge Asia, Toyo Tires will be providing him with full support throughout his 2021 racing season. 

Also, Toyo Tires will collaborate with Tengku Djan on several projects that will exclusively feature the 'Prince of Drift' on Toyo Tires' social media channels where fans can take part and be involved.

As mentioned before, the selection of Tengku Djan is in line with Toyo's reputation as a manufacturer of highly-rated performance tires as Malaysia's Prince of Drift is a well-known figure in the Malaysian motorsport and motoring scene.

Tengku Djan has been involved in motorsport for several decades with success in both local and international events such as the Sepang 1000 KM race, the D1 Grand Prix "All-Star" World Championship, Formula Drift Asia, and the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival, of which Toyo Tires is the Gold sponsor.
