Driving a Korean made car been drawing questions especially on the after sales parts and reliability. Here is my thought for this 9 years old car as at 2019 clocking to 200k km. The normal service for this car is very reasonable if not affordable, instead of describing, here is the rough common parts price for your reference: 1. Normal fully synthetic oil 4l Plus oil filter and labor RM250 2. Air filters for engine and internal air con filter RM100, you can change it easier by yourself. 3. ATF oil RM250 every 40k. 4. Original Wiper RM130, very lasting 5. Battery RM250 Engine transmission is very smooth up to today. The sunroof have been functioning well, no leakage happens before, and hopefully continuing so. The only major problem with this car is the air con compressor which occur once for me, just need to change the compressor for less than RM2K and having no problem since. The rest the car been working smoothly. Parts and service are easily sourced, just use the internet you get everything, there are FB sonata group for you to get support too, unless you are too lazy. Not once my car face the problem of not able to get parts nor needed to wait for days. FC been acceptable to me, it has been hovering average 10l/100km for me, 80% city drive and 20% highway. In KL. Normal working hour. 40% of the time sprint as the power delivery are addictive. Speakers are fantastic, getting new car now and would say still better than some of the 1xxk car out there. Spacious compartment. This is my third Korean car and I do not plan to get another one for next one as wanting to try new driving experience. Btw, having several car make in family car like Toyota, Proton, Nissan. Overall 8/10. 收起

Buying the Sonata in 2019, and it being a 8 year old car, many may think twice. But the well maintained condition convinced me of the purchase. For something 2011, you get push start, sun roof, touch screen front and back cameras. An interior which feels like a Camry, at half the price. Petrol consumption is reasonable at 9l/100km on highway and 11l/100km in city roads. 收起
