The most questions I got asked by people around me : ur gearbox OK ah? Ur car no problem ah? I HEARD VW VERY PROBLEMATIC WOR, HEARD!! To be honest, I daily drive my Jetta, track it on Sepang, outstation to JB/Pahang sometimes, clocked 123,000km in 3 years. Believe it or not, I only claimed speed sensor & aircond compressor ONCE, that’s all. I’m still riding on the same mechatronic out from factory since day 1. The car give me almost worry free ownership during this 3 years. Of course, what u have to do is take a good care of her. Service on time, replace what u definitely have to replace when it comes to wear n tear parts, don’t be cheapskate. And of course parts are more expensive, but in exchange u get more smile in ur face when u driving it, worth it or not? For me definitely YES! Conclusion is, VW isn’t as scary as what u guys heard on the internet. U just need correct knowledges to take care of the car, some involve ur driving habits too as DSG isn’t exactly a conventional automatic. Apart from driving experiences, the exterior styling, the interior build quality of the car which I think are very timeless n classy, it might not as fancy as some of its competitors but definitely a great looking car. 收起

I bought my one of the last jetta . During the Tax free season after the 2018 election.. I have tried test drive most of the c -segment sedan including Civic 1.5T The handling was superb.. I can drive confidently .. You can feel the precision on the handling. How the car react.. With the DSG .. It was awesome drive.. With a top speed of 235km/h . And the cabin does not shake at all. Infotaiment was decent.. But it was ok for me... That was not much of a priority to me. The vienna leather seat giving it a premium look.. For the exterior.. Im telling you civic wins. That is a sure thing. But in term of handling . I will go for Jetta any day any time. I highly recommend if anybody want to upgrade from B-segment to C-segment.. Worth every penny. For second hand you can really get a good deal. Fun facts before i bought this car i tought that the service interval was like other car maker.. However I was wrong For volkswagen all their car service interval was at every 15k or 1 year whichever come first. Compare to other maker with 6 month interval. So yearly maintenance is much cheaper. Im actually quite surprise. 收起
