Geneva 2018: Toyota To Unveil All-New Corolla Hatchback
Berita KeretaToyota has announced that they will use the Geneva Motor Show 2018 as the venue to premiere the all-new Toyota Auris, a European flavoured hatchback version of the popular Corolla sedan.
The Toyota Auris faces strong competition from traditional European C-segment hatchbacks such as Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus, Peugeot 308, Honda Civic, Kia Cee’d, and Seat Leon.
Toyota informs that the exterior design is more dynamic (hinted by the teaser shot above) and will be fitted with the company’s brand new 2.0-litre full hybrid powertrain.
Customarily, the Auris had its own external styling that was penned for the European customers. However, the interior of both Auris and the ASEAN Corolla Altis are identical. Thus, the all-new Auris might be able to provide us with an indication of how the interior of the new generation Corolla Altis will look like, which is planned to be introduced in 2019.
The full reveal of the all-new Toyota Auris will happen on the 6th of March.
