Sales of the two-seater sports car will begin in Japan around June 2015 through a dedicated website. Following sales start in Japan, the MX-5 will be progressively rolled out to overseas markets.

The Mazda MX-5 features the SKYACTIV technologies that includes two direct-injection petrol engines in 1.5- and 2.0-litre capacities. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission.

With a double wishbone suspension in the front and multi-link setup in the rear, the roadster aims to deliver the ultimate Jinba Ittai driving experience. Couple all that technologies with the beautiful exterior courtesy of Mazda’s KODO design theme and it makes for a very appealing sports car.

As of now, rumours indicate a September launch date of the fourth-generation MX-5 in Malaysia with our units being CBU (fully-imported) from Japan.
